YorHealth estimates the calories and macros in a meal from a photo, a typed
description, or your voice, and tracks water, weight and workouts alongside
Apple Health.
Getting help
The fastest way to reach us is Telegram:
@onfood_support. Email also works:
malikov.creates@gmail.com.
This is a small app maintained by one person, so replies may take a little
time. Including your iOS version and what you were doing at the moment the
problem happened makes it much easier to track down.
Common questions
- The calorie estimate looks wrong. Estimates are automatic
and approximate. Portion size is judged from the plate, cutlery and hands
visible in the photo, so a tighter shot with something for scale helps.
Every value can be corrected on the confirm screen before saving, and
changing the grams rescales the rest.
- A barcode is not recognised. Product data comes from Open
Food Facts, an open database with limited coverage in some countries. When
a product is missing, use Photo or Text instead.
- Voice input is not in my language. Dictation languages
come from iOS, not from YorHealth. Where your language has no dictation
support, Settings shows which language is being used instead. Typing works
in any language.
- Health data looks wrong or missing. Steps, energy and
workouts are read from Apple Health and are not calculated by YorHealth.
Check Settings › Privacy & Security › Health for
permissions. The app works with Health access refused.
Your data
Meals, water, weight and workouts stay on your device. Only the meal photo or
description leaves it, at the moment you ask for an estimate. See the
privacy policy.
Not medical advice
Nutrition figures are approximate and generated automatically. YorHealth is not
medical or nutritional advice.
